It’s one thing to say you’re gonna forget the past but it’s an entirely different story to actually do it. All feeling of remorse and regret stay deep in our chests locked so there is no possible way for them to escape. No escape or freedom from the dark corners of our minds. Could this be because we are not ready to let go? Or could it be because we are not capable of such openness to give ourselves an opportunity of happiness. The walls we build around ourselves are decorated from the inside, a long wall of pictures and words woven together creating the barrier separating ourselves from the harm of others. We use the words and pictures as a warning sign something we do not want to encounter. As a human being, shying away from what causes us pain. We set our boundaries and if anyone steps foot over our wall or breaks through it stabbing at our memories, our failures, our mistakes we do not let ourselves think of them but know that they are still there the pain envelopes our mind but somehow managing not to enter the forbidden chambers of one’s mind. It’s to painful for us to handle, so how do we start again from a clean slate? If we are stuck where we are physically then the only answer I see is too exile ourselves then we don’t give people a chance to hurt us.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you learn to appreciate them when they’re right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself…and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
